Our Gammell reunion was great fun! There was plenty of food, four wheeling and laughter. The weather was great and it is always so nice to spend a few days reconnecting with all of the family. As all of nieces and nephews are getting so big, I just love to visit with them, find out what they are doing in their lives and play games. They are all so awesome! Thanks to Rob and Sheri for putting it all together. It was beautiful and I'm so glad that we got to come. Don't miss the late night nose bubble video at the bottom. :)

Kayla Dawn
My niece Kayla was born when I was 14. Now she is getting married! I can't believe it. I took care of her when she was little and had so many sleep overs, etc. We called her "bugs" when she was little because she had these beautiful big blue eyes (her dad started it). She didn't have any hair until she was like 4. Everyone called her a boy even when she was clearly wearing pink and bows! It used to make me so mad. She was my flower girl and our wedding. When I had Matt, she brought me this little card that said, "thumbody loves you" with her thumb prints all over it. I still have it. It is so cute. When Rachel was born and she came to visit us in the hospital, Curt gave her a quarter. Later that day she was tossing it in the air and catching it. Well it happened to land right in her throat and get stuck. She had to go to the emergency room! I think she still has the quarter in a cup they gave her? Even after I was married, she and Megan would stay with us and I just love them (I love Bre and Tyson too). We've had tons of fun over the years and now she is all grown up! I'm so happy for her! She is getting married to Eric, who is also wonderful. They came up from Arizona this summer for a visit and we had a picnic with the family. It was so fun to visit with them.
Summer Fun!
Summer has been busy! I always all of these goals that never quite happen. But on the bright side, a lot of other fun things happen too. Here are some highlights:

More Birthday Celebrations!
For Rachel's 15th Birthday she wanted to have a party. So we had a party. It was fun to see them all and she has great friends. Teenage parties are less organized and Mom isn't necessary needed during the party. I did mingle here and there but tried not to hover too much. They hung out, played outside, played night games and just enjoyed everyone's company.
She also chose to go to KFC for lunch. She loves that place! I think that is the only time we ever go there. Lunch was a sucess and Emily gave her an aquarium for her birthday. We went to Jay's Jungle and she got to pick her beta. She named him James Bond. He's pretty cool. All in all I think she had a wonderful day. She starts High school in the Fall and has one more year to drive and date. I'm glad Matt will be there to watch over her this year.
Happy Birthday Rachel!
Our first baby girl was born on June 30. I was so happy to have a little girl and cried while I was in ToysRus because I could buy a baby for her. She was overdue, only two days, but I felt like it was eternity. She was our biggest baby weighing in at 8lbs. 7 oz and 21" long!
She was a happy little girl with big blue eyes.
She was named Amy Rachel Lyn Paulson. Amy after me, my mom, and my grandmother. Lyn was after Curt & I....we both have the middle name of Lyn.
Here is Rachel at 4 weeks.
Emily's Birthday
As I've mentioned before....my baby is 12! She is going into junior high. She is now in young women's. She is old! She is independent. She is responsible. She is wonderful. I think she is going to like this next year.
She had a great birthday party with her friends. They went to Classic Skating for roller skating. I hadn't been there since I was 12. It really hasn't changed much, in fact, I swear the they still have the same carpet. Then is was off to the mall for a video scavenger hunt. It was a fun day!
On her actual birthday we went to dinner at La Dolce Vita. Her favorite italian restaurant. Rachel even sang and did a little dance for her in the middle of the restaurant. I'm going to try to post that! She decorated her own cake too.
