Assassin

The kids in our chuch ward have been playing a game called assassin. Curt got this started with them last summer for a fun activity. Each participant received a name....a person they are suppose to "kill"....with a rubber band. The only catch is that there cannot be any witnesses. You have to be alone with your person and then shoot them and hit them with the rubber band. So, the game has been going since last June and he finally wrapped it up in March. Emily was the winner killing 9 people total. She was very tricky, even sitting in a truck with Curt for almost 2 hours waiting for an unsuspecting young man to get home from work. She has a blast tricking people and "killing" them. They just started a new game for the summer. We will see how she does this time....there are a lot people who want to get her!

Student Council

Emily ran for student body again this year. Rachel helped her come up with this slogan and it fit her so well since she is Mommy to 26 chickens. :) After the voting, she made it in! I am so proud of her. She is an excellent student and a good friend to all. She has a great confidence about her and I can't wait to see what great thing she will do next. Way to go Emi!

St.George

We went to St. George for a few nights over spring break. It was a very strange trip. Many things went wrong....our house that we had booked to stay in was double booked. So we are heading to St. George with no where to stay and the entire town is booked solid. We spent 3 hours making phone calls and finally found a home to rent, but it didn't have a pool. Our plan was to just chill by a pool and have a relaxing vacation. It was a nice place to stay and we felt blessed to even have a place to stay. Everyday we had little strange things happen, but we kept making the best of it, I don't want to go into it all. But, the sun was out and and it was nice to get away from home for a bit.

Easter Eggs

Dying Easter eggs seems to be a last thought with the kids getting older, but the girls were willing. Rachel's friend, Colton came over to help us late Saturday night. We were laughing a lot!

Building Snoopy's House

Rachel was given the part of Sally in the play "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" at the High School. Curt and I enjoy helping out. He builds things, I do things at the school and where ever I can. I LOVE to be with the kids....they are amazing. But, Curt took on the huge task of making Snoopy's dog house for the play. It had to be sturdy enough for Snoopy to dance on. Just know that Curt does everything with perfection and I can say, this is the nicest (and cutest) dog house ever! ;) Here it is in the process.

Happy 18th Birthday Matt!

Happy Birthday Matty! I cannot believe he is 18...but I did not cry! We celebrated by going to dinner for chinese food, his favorite. We went home and had cake that McKenna made (it was delicious). Grandma and Grandpa Frandsen came over and we opened his gifts. He got a new lens for his camera from Curt and I. McKenna made him a Thomas the Train blanket, since he loved Thomas when he was little. It was a mellow day, but a good one.

Having the Olympics going right now reminds of when he was born. We watched a lot of the olympics for the 3 days we were in the hospital after a c-section. He was a cute little baby boy and was very attatched to me. I remember going to nursery at church with him for 2 years because he coudn't be away from me. Now, he doesn't mind at all being away from me. :) That's how it is suppose to work, I guess. He is looking forward to graduation and then is planning on working until his mission next year. We are proud of him and can't wait to see what's next in the coming years!

Emily's Cookin!

Emily has been taking a cooking class from my sister-in-law, Angie, who is the best cook I know. Emily requested a pasta day and so they learned how to make fettuccine alfredo from scratch. Emily made it for us for dinner and it was yummy! Thanks Emily, I look forward to many, many more of your meals.
